As part of
its commercial release, Adobe is providing generative credits to existing
Creative Cloud, Express, and Firefly subscribers. Once these credits are
depleted, users can opt for additional payments to continue leveraging
Firefly's capabilities.
Additionally,
Adobe Firefly for Enterprise is now available for businesses, trained on a vast
repository of Adobe Stock images, openly licensed content, and public domain
material with no copyright restrictions. The company is also actively working
on allowing businesses to customize the model using their in-house assets to
generate bespoke content.
Express
Premium users can now harness Firefly's power to add captivating text effects,
edit images, and generate images effortlessly with simple text prompts. In a
move echoing Google's commitment to transparency, Adobe is introducing content
credentials to indicate that assets were created using generative AI. This
trust-building feature is supported by the open-source Content Authenticity
Initiative (CAI).
However,
Adobe users should be aware that prices for several subscription products are
set to increase by $2 to $5 per month, commencing in November. This strategic
move by Adobe underscores the value and innovative capabilities that Firefly
brings to its suite of creative tools.
